Yvonne Solvedt

Yvonne Solvedt, age 84 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on January 3, 1941, in Springville, TN, to the late Curtis Aaron Burnett and the late Vonell Darrington Whitehead. 

On January 3, 2001, Yvonne married James Solvedt, who survives of Paris, TN. 

Yvonne dedicated 20 years to the City of Paris Business Office, followed by 3 years at the Paris Civic Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed delivering meals to the members of her community. Most recently, Yvonne’s greatest joy came from volunteering at West Cancer Center & Research Institute.  

Along with her husband, she is survived by four nieces, Rhonda Pelletier of Fredericksburg, VA, Debra (Malcolm) Howell of Richmond, VA, Ava (Robert) Hughes of Elkhart, IN, and Lynne (Jeffrey) Shearin-Moore of Huntsville, AL; and several other great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Steve Michael “Stevie” Cvetic; one brother, Curtis Ray Burnett; and one sister, Nellie Ruth Griffin. 

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Todd Henson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Jamie James, Parker James, and Malcolm Howell serving as pallbearers.
