Wilma F. Burdett

Wilma F. Burdett, age 90 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at her residence.

She worked outside her home as a CNA for many years before retiring. Wilma enjoyed sewing, travelling, and reading her bible. She loved her family and grandchildren.

Wilma was born October 18, 1931, in Scott County in East TN to the late Hugh Lee Byrd and to the late Lela Marjorie Potter Byrd.

She married Edward Lamar Burdett, who preceded her in death January 7, 2015.

Wilma is survived by one daughter, Cheryl (Ronnie) Flood of Paris; one sister, Bernicece Fort of Dover, TN; one brother, Boyd Byrd of Oregon; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Burdett; and one sister, Audrey Lowe;  one brother Bethel Byrd; and one great grandchild, Zayden Flood.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242. Her body is to be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
