Willie Bea Steele age 95 of Paris died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at her residence.
Willie Bea formerly worked at Salant and Salant before retiring from Clippard Instruments. She was a Methodist in faith and a member of Oak Hill Union Church. Gardening, cooking, and fishing were hobbies of hers.
Born September 14, 1923, in Puryear, TN, she was the daughter of the late Matt Bandy and the late Bertha Crutchfield Bandy.
She married Thomas E. Steele February 17, 1940, who preceded in death February 20, 1992.
Survivors include her son, Lynn (Pat) Steele of Paris; a sister, Jean Perry of Paris; a brother, Leonard Collins of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Candi Steele (Kevin) Mitchell, Stacy “Bub” (Misti) Steele both of Paris; three great grandchildren, Gianna “Gigi” Mitchell, Beau Mitchell, and Bristol Steele all of Paris.
Along with her parents and husband, she was a preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret McNutt, Virginia Hunt, Pauline Ashlock, Genela Rabidue, and one brother, W.C. Collins.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tennessee, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, 2019, from 5 -8 pm, and continue Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 11 am until 12:30 pm. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 1 pm at the Rose Lawn Memory Garden with C. William Jones officiating
Pallbearers for the service are Stacy Steele, Beau Mitchell, Shannon Bomar, Allen Ashlock, Chris Shankle, and Chris Hopkins.
Burial will follow the graveside service.
