William T. "Billy" Dunn

William Thomas “Billy” Dunn, age 87 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He formerly worked at Emerson Electric in Paris and retired from Tecumseh as a supervisor.  Billy was a member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church and was U.S. Air Force veteran.  He loved his dogs and enjoyed going to the lake.

Billy was born September 4, 1932, in Springville, TN, to the late Thomas Davis Dunn and the late Bessie Haley Dunn.

He was married July 1, 1960, to Ruth Peale Dunn, who preceded him in death on December 5, 2009.

He is survived by his two grandsons, Greg Brooks (Christi Nash) of Paris, TN, and Chris (Mistie) Underwood of Paris, TN; and two great grandchildren, Cody Underwood and Jamie Underwood.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Underwood; and one son, Jeffery Dale “Jeff” Underwood.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Paris, TN.
