William Shane Webb

William Shane Webb, age 46 of Springville, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his residence after a long illness.

A native of Dongola, IL, he was born August 31, 1971 to the late Raleigh Webb and Patricia Dillow Webb who lives in Anna, IL.  He grew up in Anna, IL and attended Anna-Jonesboro High School graduating in 1990.  Growing up, he enjoyed playing baseball in his local community, as well as being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Russwood Baptist Church in Springville, TN.   He was previously employed at Peppers in Paris, TN as an associate in the Parts Department for a number of years and also worked as a supervisor for Nashville Wire in Dover, TN until November 2005, when his illness began.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Webb of Anna, IL; one son, Nathan (Bailey) Webb of Paris, TN; one stepson, Clayton Miller-Webb of Paris, TN; one brother, Phillip (Jodi) Webb of Springville, TN; one sister, Felicia (Fred) Gibbs of St. Charles, MO; one grandson, Colt Webb of Paris, TN; three nephews, Ben and Luke Gibbs of St. Charles, MO, and Owen Webb of Springville, TN; one niece, Mariah (Blake) Kirby of Paris, TN; one great-nephew, Wyatt Gibbs of St. Charles, MO; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raleigh Webb; paternal grandparents, Owen and Emma Webb; and maternal grandparents, William and Myrtle Dillow.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris, TN and Crain Funeral Home in Anna, IL

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home, 135 W. Vienna St, Anna, IL on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10 am – 1 pm with the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Crain Funeral Home.  Brother Darrell Williams will officiate, and burial will follow in Webb Cemetery in Tunnel Hill, IL.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Crain Funeral Home in Anna, IL to assist with funeral expenses.
