William H. "Buddy" Hughes

William H. “Buddy” Hughes, age 69 of Springville, TN, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at his residence in Springville, TN.

He was a truck driver for many years.  He formerly sold real estate, cars, and was a pioneer in the cell phone industry in Paris.  He was a member of the Buchanan Masonic Lodge and the Paris York Rite.  He attended Tennessee Valley Community Church in Paris, TN.

Buddy was born September 29, 1948, in Jackson, TN, to the late Robert T. Delaney and the late Doris Ann Carlton Delaney.

He is survived by one aunt, Lynda (Terry) Warren of Milan, TN; special caregiver, Lynda McAdoo; and his beloved pets, Sugar & Hobo.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Dr. Trent Bullock officiating.  Masonic rites will be performed at the close of the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Warren, Reedy King, Dan Tharp, Friedel Carlton, Mark Chandler, Hal T. Burke, and Lenor D. Gray.

Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery in Humboldt, TN.
