William F. “Will” Castleberry, age 47 of Paris, died Monday, November 9, 2020, at Henry County Healthcare.
Professionally, Will was best known as local radio personality “Will Fredricks”, working for WAKQ 105.5 and then WLZK 94.1 from the mid 1990’s to the mid 2000’s. He loved the outdoors, watching football, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his nieces. He was known for his big heart, infectious smile, and outgoing personality.
Born April 5, 1973 in Fort Walters, Texas, he was the son of Marilyn and Glenn Hopkins of Paris.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Daisy Roberson of Paris; his paternal grandparents, Mitchell and Dot Hopkins of Paris; and three fur babies, Anna, Blade and Lexie.
Besides his parents, Will is survived by two sisters, Teresa (Chuck) Jones of Milan, and Mechelle (Teddy) Robbins of Paris; two brothers, Tom (Luann) Castle of Henry and Shea Castleberry of Paris; two aunts that were special to his heart, Janet (Rick) Martin, and Betty Roberson, both of Paris; four nieces, Ashley (Cody) Tynes and their children, Dallas, Dalton, and Duncan, Kristen (Luke) Cuthbertson and their daughter, Sophie, Kaylie (Billy) Williamson, and Kyra Robbins; and two nephews, Zachary Castle, and Blake Castle.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with a private family memorial service to be held at a later date. The family requests privacy at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Will’s name to the Henry County Sheriff’s Animal Shelter. Monetary donations may be mailed to PO Box 639, Paris, TN 38242.
