William Charles "Chuck" Cissell

William Charles “Chuck” Cissell, age 53 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He formerly worked as a mechanic at Parker Marine in Paris. He was a Christian whose life was centered around family, hunting, and fishing.

Chuck was born March 30, 1966, in Paducah, KY, to Clifford Earl (Barbara Smith) Cissell of Paducah, KY and to the late Mary Louise Gibbs Gatewood.

Along with his father, he is also survived by his life partner, Tammy Damron of Paris, TN; four children,  Kayla Renea Cissell of Calvert City, KY, Danica Jewel Cissell of Dresden, TN, Chapell Dain Cissell of Dresden, TN, and Samantha Kay Damron of Paris, TN; four sisters, Tonya (Joe) Ford of Paducah, KY, Mary Charlene Wood of Paducah, KY, Angie Brown Everette of Paducah, KY, and Toni Renee Brown of Paducah, KY; one brother, Billy Jack Gatewood of Hardin, KY; four grandchildren, Brycelyn Averie Wilson, Kross Cissell, Jaslynn Evans, and Reldon Evans, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Belinda Carol Gatewood.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 4880 Shady Grove Road, Paris, TN 38242.  The funeral service will be Friday, July 5, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with Jimmy Stairs officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Joe Ford, Daniel Gooch, Billy Jack Gatewood, Justin Mathews, Ryan Mathews, and Dane Cissell.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Paris, TN.
