William Charles "Bill" Dodd

William Charles “Bill” Dodd, age 69 of Henry, TN, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

He retired after many years in the trucking industry as a truck driver.  Bill was a car enthusiast and loved antique cars, Corvettes, and drag racing.  He enjoyed working in his yard and loved watching the hummingbirds and deer.  Bill loved his family very much.  He was a member of Henry Baptist Church.

Bill was born February 20, 1953, in Lexington, TN, to the late Charles Curtis Dodd and Glenna Mae Black Dodd, who survives, of Henry, TN.

Along with his mother, he is also survived by one sister, Sheila Diane Dodd Cox of Henry, TN; four nieces, Allison Cox of Henry, TN, Ranae (David) Argo of GA, Elizabeth (Brad) Orgeron of TX, and Amanda (Lea) Collier-Hardin of GA; numerous cousins; and his love, Glenda Gore of Henry, TN.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Ann Collier Bradwell.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11:00 am at Henry City Cemetery in Henry, TN, with John Sutton officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Henry City Cemetery.
