William "Billy" Saxton

William “Billy” Saxton, age 72 of Paris, TN, died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Friday, October 27, 2017.
He was a retired truck driver who enjoyed fishing. He was Christian in faith.
Billy was born February 26, 1945, in Yazoo City, MS, to the late Buford Tony Saxton and the late China Clytie Price Saxton.
He was married to Jenny Newton Saxton, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sisters, Ann (Don) Hurley of Puryear, TN, and Patsy (Rick) Fields of Arkansas; locally by one niece, Patty (William) Jones of Puryear, TN; several other nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
Along with his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Gail Beck, and Bobbie Annette Saxton in infancy; and one brother, Ollie Tony Saxton.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.
The body is to be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.
