Bill Warman, age 77, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, September 6, 2015, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
He was married August 30, 1958 to Mary Ratliff Warman and she survives.
Bill was a member and Deacon at Fairview Baptist Church. He was a Bi-vocational Baptist Minister for 47 years serving at Chalk Level Baptist Church in Camden, TN, Ramble Creek Baptist Church in Big Sandy, TN and Friendship Baptist Church in Buchanan, TN. He retired from Dana as Traffic Manager after 19 years and formerly worked at Milan Express. Bill enjoyed time with his family and watching his Grandchildren’s sporting events.
He was born January 18, 1938 in Big Sandy, TN to the late Gerald Howell Warman and the late Bernice Brewer Warman.
Besides his wife Mary, he is also survived by his Three Daughters, Vicki (Cary) Gitzen of New Braunfels, Texas, Ellen Warman of Kingston, Tenn, Barbara Umbach of Buchanan, Tenn; Grandchildren, Andrea (John) Coblentz, Ryan (Vanessa) Gitzen, Cody (Jennifer) Gitzen, Will Umbach and Sam Umbach; Great Grandchildren, Avery Hunt, Brody Coblentz, Taylor Gitzen, Kayla Gitzen, and Savanna Gitzen.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a Son-In-Law, Kit Umbach; and Brother, Randy Warman.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Visitation will continue 10 - 11:30 am Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be at Fairview Baptist Church at 11:30 am Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
Brother Johnathan Smith of Fairview Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ryan Gitzen, Cody Gitzen, Will Umbach, Sam Umbach, John Coblentz, Jimmy Green, Mike Winstead, and Andy McBee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cary Gitzen, Ray Snyder, and Alvin Rickman.
Interment will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, Tenn.
