William Albert "Bill" Norman

William Albert “Bill” Norman, age 72 of Paris, TN, died Monday, October 21, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He retired from Henry Farmer’s Co-Op where he worked for 35 years.  Bill enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and going to HCHS football games. He was known as one who was always laughing, smiling, and having a good time.

Bill was born January 26, 1947, in Puryear, TN, to the late Elmus Loyce “Buck” Norman and the late Maudlean Hendrix Norman.

He is survived by his soulmate of 27 years, Betty Boane of Paris, TN; two sons, Kelly (Lisa Oakley) Norman of Hernando, MS, and Keith Norman of Paris, TN; three sisters, Kathy Myers of Springville, TN, Willodean Overby of Puryear, TN, and Margaret Faye Hudson of Louisville, KY; one brother, George (Kathy) Norman of Huntingdon, TN; and one grandson, Lucas Norman of Buchanan, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Treva Berkley; and one brother, Jimmy Franklin Norman.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Dale Gallimore officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Norman, Keith Norman, George Norman, Pat Paschall, Ricky Orr, and Dennis McClure.

Burial will be in Foundry Hill Baptist Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
