William Lee “Bill” Pollard age 74 of Paris, TN, formerly of Greenville, MS, died Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his residence.
Bill worked 30 years at Utility Products in Greenville, MS, where he retired as a Maintenance Manager. He enjoyed reading, woodworking, putting together model airplanes, talking with others, watching hummingbirds, and spending time playing with his grandchildren.
Born March 2, 1950, in Greenwood, MS, he was the son of the late Walter T. Pollard, and the late Raydine Denley Pollard.
He married Patricia Pollard March 29, 1971, and she survives of Paris.
Along with his wife, Bill is survived by a daughter, Ashley (Eric) Steer, of Nashville, TN; a son, Christopher Lee Pollard of California; four sisters, Jane (Tony) Kozielski of Greenville, Lottie (Steve) Tillman of Jackson, MS, Betty (Bill) Haik of Mississippi, and Phyllis (Ricky) Hoke of Clarksdale, MS; three brothers, Cecil (Ampy) Pollard of Oklahoma, Robert (Precy) Pollard of Brandon, MS , and John (Kathy) Pollard of Gulfport, MS; seven grandchildren, Liam Pollard, Kielan Pollard, Gwen Pollard, Aiden Buchko, Emily Steer, Lauren Steer, and Lincoln Steer.
In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a son, Nathaniel Ryan Pollard, and a sister, Rosa Mae Pollard.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. The body is to be cremated with no formal public services planned at this time.
