Wilfredo "Willy" Robles

Wilfredo “Willy” Robles, age 70 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his residence.

Wilfredo emigrated from the Philippines in 1982 to Chicago, IL, and worked in construction.  He later moved to Paris, TN, where he worked as a cook at Paris Manor nursing home before building furniture for Mohon, Intl. for 10 years. His family knew him as a devoted husband and father, and his friends knew him for his humor, kindness, and charismatic personality. He loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with his show birds.  He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris.

Wilfredo was born April 11, 1951, in Manila, Philippines, to the late Gabriel Sanchez Robles and the late Laura Elaine Leitch Robles.

He was married February 5, 1983, to Audrey Jane Johnson Robles, who survives, of Paris.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by six children, Sheryl Santos of the Philippines, Laura Arnie (Enrique) Ferrer of the Philippines, Aileen (Erwin) Saulog of Chicago, IL, Alan Robles of the Philippines, JR Robles of Nashville, TN, and Jeanetta Robles of Denver, CO; three sisters, Helen Delgado (Jose) of Phoenix, AZ, Georgina (Alfredo) Tolentino of Chicago, IL, and Patricia Robles of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Kenneth Robles and James Robles; 15 grandchildren; niece Nicole Smith of Phoenix, AZ, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Robles.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2022, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Monday, January 31, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, TN.

Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Puryear City Cemetery.
