Ward C. Cherry

Ward C. Cherry, age 88 of Paris, TN died February 9, 2014 at Paris Healthcare and Rehab Center in Paris, TN.

Born July 11, 1925 in Ft. Henry, TN, Ward was a son of S. Zebbidee and Alma Green Cherry who both preceded in death.

Ward was married September 12, 1944 to Mary Earlene Tidwell Cherry and she preceded in death March 3, 2004.  He was a member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ and a WW II Army Veteran.   Mr. Cherry was a retired administrator with T.V.A. and received a business degree from Toler Business College.

Mr. Cherry is survived by his son, Steven R. (Marilyn) Cherry of Paris, TN;  Daughter-in-law, Margaret Cherry of Paris, TN; and Grandchildren, Matthew Cherry and Chris (Tassie) Cherry.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Sammy Lee Cherry and Jerry Dale Cherry; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Visitations will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Ridgeway Funeral Home after 10 am until the service at 2 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.  Randy Stephens will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Matt Cherry, Gary Hunter, Bobby Walker, Chris Cherry, Larry Wimberley and Glenn Wimberley.

Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
