Walter Glisson

Walter Dale Glisson, age 58, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

He was a retired tire repair man formerly working at Joe and Jerry’s in Paris and he was a US Army veteran.

Dale was born July 16, 1956 in Joliet, IL to late Buford Glisson and the late Mary Maleria Bennett Glisson.

He is survived by his  One Daughter,  Jessica Shelton of Ozark, Mo;  One Son,  Jeff Glisson of Springfield, Mo;  One Sister,  Linda Harper of Orlando, Fla;  One Brother,  Tom Glisson of Goose Creek, S.C.;  Grandchildren, Joshua Glisson, Ryan Shelton and Braden Shelton;  Aunt, Shirley Dunbar of Illinois;  Uncles, James Glisson and Kenneth Glisson of Paris, TN and several Cousins in Paris, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.

There will be a Graveside Service at Olive Branch Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

Thomas Winchester will officiate.
