Virginia White, age 94 of Puryear, died Friday, February 21, 2020, at her residence.
Virginia was a member of the Puryear Church of Christ, where she enjoyed quilting with the women of the church. She enjoyed her flowers and making homemade pies for which she is known for throughout the community. Virginia enjoyed being a homemaker.
Born May 19, 1925, in Buchanan, she was the daughter of the late Bob Jackson and the late Hinda Irish Paschall Jackson.
She was married to Clifford White, who preceded her in death in 1991.
She is survived by her six daughters, Rita (Joe T.) Rainey of Puryear, Anita Carroll of Mayfield, KY, Verla (Rex) Smith of Puryear, Sherla Adams of Murray, KY, Eva (Phillip) Smith of Louisville, KY, and Vicki Plumley of Paris; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Additional survivors include her caregivers, Diana Dunlap, Lori Paschall, Rachel Ball, Brandy Long, and her granddaughter Jenny Wilson.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Freda Overcast Bolding; one sister, Sue B. Hall; three brothers, Carroll Jackson, Robert Jackson, and Norman Jackson; and one grandchild, Reese Adams.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242. There will be graveside service Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Buchanan with Don Campbell officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe T. Rainey, Rex Smith, Dale Bolding, Phillip Smith, Rodney Nance, and Brooks Underwood.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Buchanan, TN.
