Victor George "Vic" Dulceak, Sr.

Victor George “Vic” Dulceak, Sr., age 90 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his residence in Paris, TN.

He retired as the longtime owner & operator of Victor Dulceak & Sons, a construction company in Illinois.  He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in WWII.  Vic was a lifetime member and past commander of the VFW in Wheaton, IL, and a member of the American Legion in Glen Ellyn, IL.  He was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wheaton, IL.  He enjoyed playing golf and bowling.  He loved his family and friends very much and was very active in their lives and the life of his community.

Vic was born June 6, 1928, in Chicago, IL, to the late Constantine E. Dulceak and the late Helen Pietrowski Dulceak.

He was married December 22, 1949, to Luella Mae Roegtter Dulceak, who survives, of Dresden, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by four daughters, Carolyn Dulceak Gateward of Lake Zurich, IL, Sandra K. Dulceak (Mark) Taylor of Carol Stream, IL, Pamela C. Dulceak (Richard) Lille of Paris, TN, and DeeAnn M. Dulceak of Aurora, IL; two sons, Victor G. Dulceak, Jr., of West Chicago, IL, and Ronald G. (Corlene) Dulceak of New Port Richie, FL; two brothers, Michael (Patricia) Dulceak of North Lake, IL, and Valintine Dulceak of Bloomingdale, IL; 27 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Sophie Dubinski, Evelyn Dulceak, and Dorothy Dulceak Williams; and two brothers, Nickolas Dulceak and Constantine William Dulceak.

Local arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242.  The body is to be donated to science.
