Trudie Kay Moon

Gertrude Kay “Trudie” Moon, age 83 of Paris, TN, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at her residence.

Trudie was born March 7, 1942, to the late Lyle Clinton Reynolds and the late Thelma Gruner Reynolds in Lansing, MI.

On August 29, 1958, she married Herbert S. “Herbie” Moon, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 19, 2018.

Trudie devoted many years to helping her husband with Moon's TV Service in Martin, TN. She was a homemaker who loved to crochet, solve word puzzles, make arts and crafts, shop at thrift stores, and stroll through farmers’ markets.

She is survived by three children, Pam (Tony) Madding of LaVergne, TN, Bobby Moon of Murfreesboro, TN, and Steve L. (GiGi) Moon of Lebanon, TN; one sister, Cheryl Hagerman of Lansing, MI; five grandchildren, Jeremy Ellis, Kim Moon, Corey (Nicole) Linn, Jared Denton, and Brian (Paola) Moon; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Trudie was preceded in death by one daughter, Tami Moore; and two sisters, Dorothy Suska and Natalie Dean.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Garden with Brian Moon, Corey Linn, Billy Linn, and Jeremy Ellis serving as pallbearers.
