Tressa Moody Green

Tressa Moody Green, age 80 of Springville, TN, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

She was a member of LBL Church of Christ and attended Mt. Zion Church of Christ many years ago as a child.  She graduated from Buchanan High School in 1955.  Tressa retired from the Board of Public Utilities in Paris where she worked for many years as Plant Accountant.  She enjoyed camping, gardening, crocheting, reading and spending the winters in Florida.

Tressa was born April 14, 1937 in Buchanan, TN to the late Charles F. Moody Sr. and the late Charlotta Oliver Moody.

She was married on June 18, 1955 to Kenneth C. Green and he survives of Springville, TN.  Tressa is also survived by one daughter, Vicki Green of Paris, TN; one brother, Joe Pat (Jane) Moody of Buchanan, TN; one Nephew and several nieces.

Besides her parents, Tressa was also preceded in death by one sister, Sue Moody Gream; and two brothers, Charles F. Moody Jr., and Freed Moody.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4 – 7 pm and Friday, October 13, 2017 from 11 am – 12 pm.  The funeral service will be Friday, October 13, 2017 at 12:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Earl Claud officiating.

Pallbearers will be Steve Green, Jeff Allen, Lane Green, Frank Maupin, Glenn Wimberley, and Larry Wimberley.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
