Tonia V. Russell

Tonia V. Russell, age 60 of Springville, TN, died Sunday, August 4, 2019, at her residence in Springville, TN.

She was the longtime housekeeper for Buchanan Resort in Buchanan, TN.  Tonia was a member of the Antioch community near Kentucky Lake.  She loved her family and her dog Lucy.  She was a free-spirited person who lived and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Tonia was born May 17, 1959, in St. Charles, MO, to the late Roy Giesler, Jr., and the late Freddie Lou Gentry Gielsler.

She is survived by one daughter, Missy (Bryan) Coleman of Henry, TN; one stepdaughter, Nikki (Richard) Hughes of Big Sandy, TN; one brother, Patrick Garrett of Springville, TN; one half-sister, Patty Crenchlow of IL; five grandchildren, Alexxis Marshall, Chase Reed, Alyssa Coleman, Savana Busby, and Ellie Hughes; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her friend and caregiver, Patty Wollenweber.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Garrett and Rusty Garrett.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life service to be held at a later date.
