Tommy Gallimore

Tommy Gallimore, age 64 of Puryear, TN, died Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He was an employee of the City of Paris for 25 years where he worked in the Parks Department. Tommy was a founding member of the Puryear Volunteer Fire Department and served as a volunteer fireman for several years. He was a member of Puryear Baptist Church and prior to his health declining, enjoyed playing golf.

Tommy was born March 4, 1956, in Paris, TN, to the late Albert Gallimore and to the late Irene Orr Gallimore.

He is survived by one sister, Sondra (Butch) Paschall of Puryear, a niece, Kimmi (Paul) Hayes of Pleasant View, TN; a nephew, Kerry (Pam) Paschall of Murray, KY; great nieces and nephews Gatlin (Nina) Paschall, Grace Paschall, Griffin Paschall, Layne Chesser, Benjamin Hayes and Olivia Hayes; and special cousins, Dwain and Janna Alexander.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris TN 38242. A public graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 4 PM at the Puryear City Cemetery with Chad Kennedy officiating. The family has requested that a mask be worn and social distancing be observed at the cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service will be Kerry Paschall, Paul Hayes, Gatlin Paschall, Griffin Paschall, Ben Hayes, and Dwain Alexander.

Burial will follow in the Puryear City Cemetery.
