Thomas Wesley “Lurch” Jackson, age 59 of Springville, TN, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
Lurch was a truck driver for many years. He loved the outdoors and especially boating on his boat, McBride’s Ride II.
He was born November 7, 1957 in Nashville, TN to the late Thomas Edward Jackson and the late Julia Frank Jackson.
Lurch was married in 1991 to Mary Christina McBride Jackson and she survives of Springville, TN. He is also survived by one daughter, Wendi Jackson of Memphis, TN; two sons, Steve Jackson of Bruceton, TN and Chris (Miranda) Jackson of Gladeville, TN; one sister, Dona (Billy) Hatfield of Joelton, TN; two brothers, Hershel “Gene” Jackson of Clarksville, TN, and Bobby Jackson of Joelton, TN; six grandchildren, Hannah Jackson, Hailey Jackson, Hunter Jackson, Kortney Jackson, Ashlyn Jackson, and Noelle Jackson.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where visitation will be on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4 – 7 pm and on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 11 am – 2 pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, June 16, 2017 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Jessie Allen officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
