Thomas Jackson LeCroy

Thomas Jackson “Jack” LeCroy age 86 of Lexington TN, died Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.

Jack loved music, especially old country, rockabilly, and southern gospel music. In his younger years, he enjoyed singing in a band and songwriting. Jack was always known for his quick wit and charismatic personality. He was Baptist in faith.

 Born January 23, 1938, in Columbia, TN, he was the son of the late Rev. Thomas Boyd LeCroy and the late Opal Elizabeth Hough LeCroy. 

 He married Peggy Renfroe LeCroy October 16, 1993, who survives of Lexington.

 Along with his wife he is also survived by his children; Cheryl (Mike) Wilson, Jackie Hart, and Jon (Hope) LeCroy, all of Paris; two additional daughters, Sheila (Jim) Henderson, and Sandy (Brandon) Wilson both of Lexington; a sister, Jane (Jim) Davis of Cookeville, TN; ten grandchildren, Crystal (Perry) Reeves, Hunter (Jessica) Johnson , Heather Hart , Chance (Kayley) LeCroy, Laikyn LeCroy, Hanna (Rodger) McDonald, Russ (Hannah) Henderson, Haley Woods, Connor Woods, and Ross Wilson, and ten great grandchildren, Lola Cate Reeves, Max Reeves, Tinleigh Johnson, Brooks Johnson, Ember LeCroy, Ella LeCroy, Evelyn LeCroy, Collyn Wilson, Everette McDonald, and Bennett Henderson.

 In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Libby Smith, and Dianah West.

 Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2024, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Memorial Cemetery with Clint Ezell officiating.

 Serving as pallbearers for the service will be Hunter Johnson, Chance LeCroy, Jim Henderson, Andy Davis, Perry Reeves, and Brandon Wilson.

 Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
