Thomas Richard Craig

Thomas Richard Craig, age 76 of Buchanan, TN, died Friday, June 7, 2024, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.

He retired after many years as a commercial shell diver.   He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.  Richard enjoyed playing music and loved to share his musical talent for several community benefits.  In his younger years, he enjoyed playing several sports.  He was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church.

Richard was born July 31, 1947, in Paris, TN, to the late Arthur Craig and the late Effie Lee Clutts Craig.

He is survived by three brothers, James W. (Mary) Craig of Springville, TN, Carney (Sylvia) Craig of Buchanan, TN, and Ernest (Patsy) Craig of Buchanan, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Noble Craig.  

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
