Theresa Sue Willoughby

Theresa Sue Willoughby, age 70 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris.

She worked at Holley Carburetor Plant in Paris for several years and then went to work for Four Seasons.  Theresa loved family gatherings and being with her children, grandchildren, and all her family.  She had a spirited sense of humor and loved her animals.  She formerly attended Whitlock Church of Christ.

Theresa was born September 16, 1951, in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Carmen E. Smith and the late Ivaleen Sanders Smith.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian A. (Gina Thompson) Willoughby of Paris, and Aaron M. (Tracy McWherter) Willoughby of Paris; three sisters, Sandra Hastings of Mansfield, TN, Betty Atchison of Paris, and Wanda Small of Hendersonville, TN; one brother, Tony (Penny) Smith of Paris; and two grandchildren, Ty Willoughby and Jase Willoughby.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly K. Willoughby; two sisters, Carleen Hickman and Marty Kilgore; and one brother, Alton Eugene Smith.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  Memorial visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the memorial service to begin at 12:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Tom Winchester officiaitng.

Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, TN.
