Theresa Cleaver

Theresa Rose Cleaver, age 53 of Puryear, TN, died Friday, December 13, 2019, in Buchanan, TN.

She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching TV, and sewing.

Theresa was born June 13, 1966, in Chicago, IL, to the late Edward Charles and Wanda Sue Taylor Charles, who survives, of Buchanan, TN.

She was married December 26, 1998, to James Cleaver, III, who survives, of Puryear, TN.

Along with her mother and husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Tiffany (Jason) Smith of Paris, TN; one son, James (Alia) Cleaver of Paris, TN; one brother, Edward Charles of Buchanan, TN; six grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Destiny Smith, Trenton Smith, Sydney Owens, Kurt Hawes, and Lakelynn Cleaver; and one great granddaughter, Annalynn Owens.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Brown.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Memorial visitation is to be held Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the West Wood Pentecostal Church, 1788 West Wood St., Paris,TN 38242, from 12 pm until 2 pm.
