Theodore "Ted" Schaefer

Theodore “Ted” Schaefer, age 56 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He formerly worked for Plumley Manufacturing in Paris and Advance Auto Parts in Mississippi. Grilling, working on lawnmowers, spending time with family and friends were hobbies of his. He was an avid fan of the Wheel of Fortune. Ted was a very giving man.

Ted was born December 19, 1961, in Belleville, IL, to the late Ralph Schaefer and the late Shirley Davis Schaefer Gray.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lora Schaefer.

He is survived by his fiancée, Judy Davis of Paris, TN; one son, Anthony “Tony” (Mandie) Schaefer of Buchanan, TN; one sister, Nancy Schaefer Tabbs of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Carl (Cindy) Schaefer of Biloxi, MS; and three grandchildren, Michael Schaefer, Jacob Schaefer and Jordan Orion.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Union Church, 5135 Hwy 69 North, Paris, TN 38242.
