Terry G. Moody

Terry G. Moody, age 49 of Paris, TN, died Monday, August 17, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He worked as the Peer Support Specialist for The Commitment House in Elizabethton, KY.  He formerly worked for Long John Silvers, Pope Concrete, and the Huddle House in Paris.  Terry loved fishing, football, playing with his grandkids, and celebrating his recovery.  He was a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church.

Terry was born April 1, 1971, in Paris, TN, to the late Jacky Moody and Diane Smith Parrish, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with his mother, he is also survived by his son, Justin (Courtney) Moody of Paris, TN; one sister, Michelle Moody (Tim) Tyler of Monee, IL; two grandchildren, Kaylee Ann Grace Moody and Dellaney Moody; three uncles, Steve (Flossie) Smith of Puryear, TN, Barry Smith of Puryear, TN, and Bobby Smith of Alexandria, LA; and one nephew, Billy Tyler of Monee, IL.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 6:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Steve Gallimore and Chad Kennedy officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
