Terry Flanagan

Terry Flanagan, age 55 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at his residence after a brief illness.

He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Paris, and an employee of the Henry County Highway Department.  Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening and his backyard bamboo forest, and loved growing tomatoes.  He cherished times spent with loved ones, especially his nephews and niece.

Terry was born June 23, 1964, in Paris, TN, to the late Thomas Hallie Flanagan and the late Mary Watkins Flanagan.

He is survived by his son, Justin Flanagan of San Diego, CA; his soulmate, Pam Campbell of Paris, TN, and her son Michael Freeland; one sister, Rita (Randy) Gean of Buchanan, TN; two brothers, Windell (Diane) Flanagan of Paris, TN, and Jerry Mac (Sue) Watkins of Stewart County, TN; niece, Kevonna Moore; and nephews, Kendrick Moore and Vonrick Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Katherine (JW) Calloway, Frances (Gobel) Wilson, Hallie Mae Nichols, and Winnie (Audrey) Dunlap.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2019, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Pallbearers will be Justin Flanagan, Cody North, Richie Chilcutt, Stacey Nored, William Clary, and Timmy Barnhill.  Named as an honorary pallbearer is Don Jackson.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Paris, TN.
