Terrence William "Terry" Kelly, Jr.

Terrence William “Terry” Kelly, Jr., age 81 of Buchanan, TN, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at AHC of Paris.

He retired after a long career in education as a teacher, where he taught 6th grade & spent most of his teaching career in Juneau, AK. Terry loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He also was an avid reader.

Terry was born November 26, 1942, in Middletown, NY, to the late Terrence William Kelly, Sr., and the late Helene “Lee” Roch Kelly.

He is survived by his four children, Alicia M. Kelly-Wiler of Union Springs, NY, Kyra Kelly of Eugene, OR, Tara Kelly (Eric Torgerson) of Juneau, AK, and Thane Kelly (Julie Sanbei) of Juneau, AK; two sisters, Kathy Munson of Tallahassee, FL, and Susan Yolevich of Hilton, NY; one brother, Michael Kelly of Chaumont, NY; five grandchildren, Ed, William, Leif, Wesley, Anya, and one grandchild on-the-way.

In addition to his parents, Terry was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Bryona M. Wiler.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
