Tammie Key

Tammie Lynn Key, age 60 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Henry County, died Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

She was a manager at several restaurants in the Murfreesboro area.  Tammie was a 1977 graduate of Henry County High School and later graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.  She enjoyed reading and music.

Tammie was born November 23, 1959, in Thurmont, MD, to the late Jesse Burton and the late Lucille Edgar Burton.

She was married May 20, 1998, to Eddie Stephen Key, who survives, of Murfreesboro, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by three sisters, Pat (Jeff) Loines of Paris, TN, Janis Caldwell of Paris, TN, and Norma (Art) Crews of Jackson, TN; one brother, Jim (Vicki) Burton of Lebanon, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Tom Caldwell.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242. The body is to be cremated.  Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Gary Collier officiating.
