Sue McClain, age 86, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
She was married October 25, 1947 to Paul Franklin "Red" McClain he died September 23, 1996.
Sue was a member of East Wood Church of Christ and she was a self-employed seamstress for many years.
She was born June 1, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to the late Clyde Johnson Sterrett and the late Bertha Eva McFadden Adams.
She is survived by her Four Daughters, Ann (Dan) Patterson of Puryear, Tenn, Peggy Carrier of Salem, Ind, Paula (Gary) Odom of Paris, Tenn, Debbie Pace of Paris, Tenn; Two Sons, James (Kim) McClain of Puryear, Tenn, Dwayne McClain of Jackson, Tenn, Three Sisters, Dean Parker of Paris, Tenn, Bessie Guthrie Wynn of Muskegon, Mich, Bobbi Guthrie Kuhn of Shepherdsville, Ky; 9 Grandchildren, Gary Stephens, Todd Thurman, Cathy Fitzhugh, Molly Harris, Mandy Davidson, Clint Odom, Abby Martin, Audrey Horn, and Dalton McClain; Six Great Grandchildren, Barron Robinson, Ranger Robinson, Maverick Robinson, Jackson Harris, Collins Davidson, Everett Martin; and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her Husband and Parents, Sue was also preceded in death by a Brother, Billy Joe Guthrie.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm Monday, September 8, 2014 and after 9 am Tuesday, September 9, 2014. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 9, 2014
Victor E. Eskew and David Alan Jackson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gale Flood, Bobby Owen, Jerry Olive, Tilman Paschall, David Bell, and Charlie Neal.
Interment will be at Price Cemetery in Puryear, Tenn.
