Steven Ernest "Steve" Rowlett

Steven Ernest “Steve” Rowlett, age 70 of Springville, TN, died Saturday, May 9, 2020, at his residence.

He retired after many years as a heavy equipment operator for TVA.  Steve graduated from Springville High School and was a member of Springville Baptist Church in Springville.  He loved fishing and gardening.  Steve was an excellent cook and formerly cooked at Three Oaks Restaurant in Springville.

Steve was born August 21, 1949, in Paris, TN, to the late James Rowlett and Ernestine Clendenin Mann, who survives, of Paris, TN.

He was married in October of 1972 to Mary Frances Browning Rowlett, who preceded him in death on July 30, 2019.

Along with his mother, he is also survived by one daughter, Teresa (Randy) Kibbler of Paris, TN; one son, Anthony (Jamie) Baker of Paris, TN; one sister, Vicki (Johnny) Gibson of Springville, TN; one brother, Mark (Delia) Mann of Ambler, PA; eight grandchildren, Tara (Rusty) Parker, Brandon (Kristen) Kibbler, Travis Kibbler, Alyssa Barker, Haley Barker, Kaitlyn Barker, Ashley (Ben) Watts, and Russell Barker; and six great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  A private graveside service will be held with Johnny Farmer officiating.

Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
