Stella Duncan

Stella Duncan, age 68 of Puryear, TN, died Friday, July 31, 2020.

She was employed at Van’s Pharmacy in Martin, TN, where she worked as a pharmacist.  Stella was a 1983 graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy in Memphis, TN.  She loved cooking and feeding people and enjoyed collecting rocks.

Stella was born April 5, 1952, in Murray, KY, to the late Max Daniel Duncan and the late Evelyn Sue Paschall Duncan.

She is survived by her son, Edward “Eddy” Underhill of Elkmont, AL; two sisters, Marsha (Phil) Routon of Paris, TN, and Lawana Ward of Bartlett, TN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Danny Duncan, Noah Edmond Duncan, and Larry Duncan.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  A graveside service will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at 12:00 pm at Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, TN, with David Allbritten and Tom Porter officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Duncan, Justin Reynolds, Thomas Edward Underhill, Trevor Bennett, Troy Bennett, and Cody Duncan.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Puryear City Cemetery.
