Shirley Mccain

Shirley Jean McCain, age 76 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.

She retired after many years as a hairdresser where she owned and operated her own salon.  Shirley enjoyed taking care of her daughter and grandchildren.  She loved to grow flowers and work in the yard.

Shirley was born July 5, 1942, in Paris, TN, to the late Joseph Singleton and the late Mary Womack Singleton.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Adcock of Greenville, MS; one brother, Roger Singleton of Paris, TN; three grandchildren, Cody (Samantha) Johnson of Pelahatchie, MS, Cameron Adcock of Greenwood, MS, and Jacob Adcock and fiancée Danielle Raymond of Greenville, MS; and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jo Williamson and Mildred Teague; and five brothers, Wilbur Singleton, Howard Singleton, Edgar Singleton, Chester Singleton, and Robert Singleton.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
