Shirley Baker

Shirley Kinnick Baker, age 78 of Paris, TN, died Monday November 12, 2018, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

She was the former owner and operator of Eaker’s Café in Paris for several years.  She also formerly worked at Midland-Ross in Paris and H.I.S. in Camden.  She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and enjoyed working outside and gardening.

Shirley was born on February 5, 1940 in Paris, TN, to the late James S. Litchford and the late Clella Mae Kennon Litchford Stone.

She was formerly married to Arnold Kinnick, who preceded her in death, she married her second husband Billy Joe Baker on October 19, 1986, who also preceded her in death on January 21, 2005.

She is survived by one daughter, Kim (Johnny) Berry of Big Sandy, TN; one son, Robert “Cotton” A. Kinnick of Paris, TN; one half-brother, Donnie Litchford of Lebanon, TN; 3 grandchildren, E5 Johnathan Mark (Ashley) Berry, Andy Berry, Teri (Bryan) Stephens; 8 great-grandchildren, Chloe Berry, Trinity Berry, Shirley Berry, Ember Berry, Rachel Bastyr, Amie Jo Stephens, Melody (Daniel) Walker, and Hayes Berry; special aunt, Earline Sheehan; and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Litchford; and a special nephew who was like a son, Scott Kinnick.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and continue Friday November 16, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ledon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Glen Hill and Emily Walker officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Berry, Bryan Stephens, Hansel McCadams, E5 Johnathan Mark Berry, Zach Clement, and Gene Sheehan.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bethesda Adult SS Class, Janet Scott, and her great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery in Paris, TN.
