Sherry Diane Wilcox

Sherry Diane Wilcox, age 58 of Big Sandy, TN, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville, TN.

Diane was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed mowing her yard, running, fishing, being outdoors, and watching movies. Diane loved being with and taking care of her grandchildren.

Born January 23, 1966, in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Wilcox and Retha Perry Wilcox, who survives of Huntingdon, TN.

Along with her mother, survivors include her daughters, Amber (Brian) Crouch and Courtney (Jimmy Lowery) Wood, both of Paris, TN; a brother, David (Christine) Head, of Maryland; and four grandchildren, Bayleigh Thompson, Jayden Tharpe, Bennett Crouch, and Kynlee Lowery.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Perry.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm and continue Wednesday, February 21, 2024, after 12 :00 pm until the time of the service. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 2 :00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Brian Wimberley and Mike Wimberley officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Crouch, Jimmy Lowery, Mark Evans, Chad Thompson, Mike “Skull” Davis, and David Head. Jayden Tharpe and Bennett Crouch will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery
