A graveside service for former bar owner, factory worker and cook Sherry Louise Harper of Paris will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bevil Cemetery. Tommie Dicus will officiate.
Named as pallbearers are Jacob Henson, Tyler and Devin Harper, Blake and Austin Williams and Jerry Dale Gilbert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Hudgins and Issac Williams.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today.
Harper, 61, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at her residence.
Born Nov. 19, 1951, in Tiptonville, she was a daughter of the late Ollie B. and Ella Louise Hutchcraft Reed.
She was married on March 31, 1979, to Ronnie Harper, who died March 28, 2006.
Harper was a member of West Wood Pentecostal Church of God. She was formerly employed at Mar-Kel Lighting for several years and was a cook at the Kitchen Table restaurant. She formerly owned and operated Sherry’s Pop-A-Top Bar in Paris.
She leaves two daughters: Amy Gilbert of Memphis and Hope Renea Littlepage of Paducah; one son: Martin B. Paul Harper of Paris; one sister: Vicki Reed of Paris; one brother: Rodney (Alisa) Reed of Reeves;
Eight grandchildren: Jacob Henson, Kiesa Henderson, Tyler and Devin Harper, Blake and Austin Williams, Torie Gilbert and Whitney Moore; and four great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Larry Matthew Barritt.
