Sharon Brezina

Sharon Brezina, age 67 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, December 7, 2019, at her residence.

She retired after many years as a computer programmer for IBM.  Sharon was a lifelong learner and acquired degrees in teaching, business, and computer programming.  She also obtained an associate’s degree in nursing.  Sharon was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with friends at the pool.  She was Episcopalian by belief.

Sharon was born April 29, 1952, in Wilmington, DE, to the late Richard Hoffman and the late Nancy Benner Hoffman.

She was married September 2, 1982, to Michael Brezina, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by one son, Thomas (Katie) Brezina of Memphis, TN; one sister, Linda Taylor of Kitty Hawk, NC; Richard (Dottie) Hoffman of Whitehall, PA; three sisters-in-law, Teresa (Chuck) Schwenk, Dolores Breitfield, and Suzanne (Herbert) Saylor; two, brothers-in-law, Paul (Pat) Brezina and Joe Gitski; and 35 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Joan Yapsuga and Margaret Gitski; and two brothers-in-law, Ed Yapsuga and Herbert Breitfield.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  Memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
