Sandy Minnis

Sandy Lee Minnis, age 60 of Springville, TN, died Monday, December 27, 2021, at his residence.

He was a longtime mechanic, heavy equipment operator, and truck driver. He enjoyed building model cars, working on trucks, and singing karaoke. Sandy loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Paris.

Sandy was born August 4, 1961, in Springfield, TN, to the late Robert Coleman Minnis and to the late Shirley Jones Minnis.

He was married for 35 years to Jennifer Maly Minnis, who survives, of Springville.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons, David Brian Minnis of Nashville, TN, Christopher (Amanda) Minnis of Paris, and Dillon (Georgette) Minnis of Springville; one sister, Peggy (Sam) Crowder of Paris; and five grandchildren, Corbyn Minnis, Ashlyn Rhodes, Ryker Minnis, Trista Minnis, and Kevin Minnis.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Brian Wimberley officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dillon Minnis, Lenny McFadden, Brian Solowey, Justin Wright, James Krezinski, Kenny Zepess, and Adam Brockwell. His grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN
