Sandra "Sandy" Paschall

Sandra “Sandy” Jayne Paschall age 62 of Hazel, KY, died Friday, December 28, 2018, at her residence in Hazel.

Sandy was a loving caretaker and sitter. She formerly worked as the school nurse at Puryear School. She enjoyed her pets, gardening and her flowers. She had many friends and was very much a people person.

Born December 18, 1956, in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Shawhan and Roberta Thill Meyer of Shalimar, FL.

She is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” Sapaugh of Hazel, KY.

Along with her husband and mother, additional survivors include: a daughter: Rebecca Paschall of Chattanooga, TN; a step daughter: Stacy (Joe) Raley of Beltsville, MD; a step son: Steven (Barb) Sapaugh of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters: Sheryl (Mike) Moritz of Traverse City, MI, Heidi Meyer Clayton of Southaven, MS, and Holly Meyer of Paris, TN; two brothers:  Thomas (Norma) Shawhan of Dayton, OH and Timothy (Lisa) Shawhan of  Hazel, KY;  a special niece that she helped raise: Lily Green and a special nephew that she helped raise: Victor Clayton.

Additional survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242, where memorial visitation will be held Monday, December 31, 2018, from 4 to 6 pm with a memorial service to follow at 6 pm in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.
