Sandra S. Klossing

Sandra S. Klossing, age 77 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, December 19, 2019, at her residence.

She retired after several years of work for both Sears and Tecumseh Products in Paris.  Sandra was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she enjoyed many years of teaching Sunday school.  She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, and loved her family very much.

Sandra was born September 13, 1942, in Reynolds, GA, to the late John Maurice Slaton and the late Eula Mae Busbee Slaton.

She was married June 16, 1963, to George R. Klossing, who preceded her in death on January 3, 2018.

She is survived by three daughters, Denise (Barry) Brogdon of Paris, Teresa Mason of Fredericksburg, VA and Kimberli (Eddie) Moore of Bradford, TN; two brothers, Gary Slaton of Reynolds, GA, and Lester (Jean) Slaton of Reynolds, GA; five grandchildren, Sean Mason, Shelby (Cameron) Courtney, Collin Mason, Hannah Moore, and Elizabeth Moore; and one great granddaughter, Kayleigh Courtney.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Tony Neese; and two brothers, Virlyn Slaton and Wayne Slaton.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.  The funeral service will be Sunday, December 22, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church, 619 N. Wilson Street, Paris, TN 38242, with Gerald Scott and Otis Hinton officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Barry Brogdon, Eddie Moore, Kevin Slaton, and Jay Slaton.

Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN, at a later date.
