Sandra "Sandy" E Winters

Sandra E. “Sandy” Winters, age 78 of Paris, TN, died on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital in Paris.

Sandy was a member of First Baptist Church of Paris. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and being their taxi service. Sandy loved spending time with her family, hummingbirds, Atlanta Braves baseball, and taking rides with her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Walker. 

She was born on October 11, 1946, in Chicago, IL, to the late Earl B. Robbins and the late Evelyn Cannon Robbins.

Sandy married Chesley Winters September 3, 1966, and he preceded her in death June 19, 1990.

She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle (Kreg) Kyle of Paris, TN, Cheri Hayes of Paris, TN; one sister, Alaine Heath of Paris, TN; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Joe) Walker; nieces, Gina Arevalo and Ginger (Chad) French; nephew, James Heath; three grandchildren, Ben Hayes, Bryleigh Hayes, and Kenson Kyle; and several other nieces; a nephew, and her faithful cat, Simon.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. officiated by Dr. Trent Bullock. 

Kreg Kyle, Kenson Kyle, Ben Hayes, Chad French, Benji Gregson, and Shawn David Brown will serve as pallbearers. Joe Walker and James Heath are named as honorary pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Paris.
