Sandra Jean Ealey

Sandra Jean “Sandy” Ealey, age 73 of Paris, TN, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, surrounded by her family in McKenzie, TN. 

Sandy formerly worked at Midland Brake, Gary’s Wholesale, Freedman Jewelers, and Pyramid Pawn Shop. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her later years. Sandy loved making jewelry and enjoyed singing. 

She was born October 6, 1951, in Detroit, MI, to the late Paul William Hixson, and the late Flora Lee Brown Hixson. 

Sandy is survived by one daughter, Trisha Veazey; one son, Gary Medlock; seven grandchildren, Jared Medlock, Hunter Medlock, Madison Veazey, Katelyn Veazey, Harlee Veazey, Haylee Valentine, and Shelby Beecham; two great-grandchildren, Hadleigh Grace Veazey and Waylon Joseph Hoofman; one brother, Don Hixson; one sister, Sue (Jim) Belll; and special friend, Fran Webb.

Ridgeway Funeral Home will be handling the services. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 4 pm until 7 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home and continue on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 12 pm until 2 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Wilbur Farmer officiating. 

Serving as pallbearers for the service will be Chuck Vandyke, Joel Williamson, Paxton Bostick, Logan Stewart, Jayme Hunter, and Chris Veazey.   Tommy Matlock, Jim Bell, and Don Webb are named as honorary pallbearers. 

 Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris.
