On June 30, 2020, Ryan Wheat ran for the first time in his life; right into the arms of Jesus.
He absolutely loved life and enjoyed being with people. With the help of family, nurses, and special caregivers, Ryan fought hard to fulfill his purpose in life; simply to show people how to love.
Ryan was born April 1, 1989, in Murray, KY, to Robert Wheat, Jr., and Lee Ann Bolin Wheat, who both survive, of Paris, TN.
Along with his parents, he is also survived by his brother, Brad (Carly) Wheat of Paris, TN; his maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Bolin of Paris, TN; and his niece, Ann Marie Wheat.
He was preceded in death by one grandmother, Betty Carroll Wheat; and two grandfathers, Adrian “Stretch” Bolin and Robert Wheat, Sr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, July 12, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Tennessee Valley Community Church in Paris. Ryan would want the attire to be informal.
Memorials may be made to: Tomorrow’s Hope, 211 N. Brewer Street, Paris, TN 38242 or Tennessee Valley Community Church Preschool, 2500 East Wood Street, Paris, TN 38242 or Carl Perkins Child Abuse Prevention Center, 204 N. Brewer Street, Paris, TN 38242.
