Retired Walmart department head Ruthie Lee Nance, 93, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at Regional Hospital in Jackson.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Larry Dukes and Mike Burney will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery between Como and Cottage Grove.
Named as pallbearers are Christopher Hines, Art Highland, Jerry Taylor, Billy Pierce, Fred Bowles and Eugene Nance.
Honorary pallbearers will be Connie Highland, Joyce and Gordon Taylor, Joe Pat Jones and Joyce Jones.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Thursday.
Born March 31, 1920, in Paris, she was a daughter of the late John Randolph Fletcher and Eula Mae Lamb Fletcher.
She was married on May 11, 1940, to Owen Edison Nance, who died Feb. 21, 1994.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Paris and Order of the Eastern Star in Sikeston, Mo.
She leaves one daughter: Jolene (Frank) Howell of Paris; one nephew: Larry B. Lampkins of Mayfield; and several cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Aron Randolph Fletcher.
