Ruth Scott

Ruth Marie Scott, age 71 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church. She loved yard sales, flea markets, and enjoyed visiting with people.
Ruth was born March 23, 1946, in Paris, TN to the late Edward Lewis and the late Nettie Lewis.
She was married April 1, 2015, to John T. Scott, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Debbie (Tony) Patterson of Camden, TN; two sons, Bill Baxley of Paris, TN, and Chris Baxley of Paris, TN; two grandchildren, Amber (Josh) Sowell of Camden, TN, and Tyler Patterson of Camden, TN; four great grandchildren, Dacoda Sowell, Dillon Sowell, Haylee Sowell, and Weston Patterson.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, at 11:00 am at Community Cemetery in Springville, TN, with Gerry Gallimore officiating.
Pallbearers for the service will be family and friends.
Burial will follow in Community Cemetery in Springville, TN.
