Ruth Dean

Ruth Dean, age 84, of Paris, Tenn., died Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at her residence in Paris, Tenn.

Ruth married September 24, 1949 to Freeman Franklin Dean and he preceded in death May 30, 1988.    She put her faith in God many years ago and was Pentecostal in her faith.     She retired after 22 years as a sewing machine operator for Knoll Inc. of Muskegon, MI formerly Shaw-Walker.

She was born July 8, 1930 in Springville, TN to the late William Henry Atchison and the late Callie French Atchison.

She is survived by her   One Daughter,  Judy Rose (Robert) Noordhoff of Muskegon, Mich;  One Son,  William Alton (Ida Jenkins) Dean of Paris, Tenn;  One Sister,  Rachel Atchison of Muskegon, Mich;  6 Grandchildren;  11 Great Grandchildren;  and  Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

She was also preceded in death by  Sisters,  Lucille Atchison,  Pauline Crossno,  and  Eva Patterson;  and Brothers,  Charlie Atchison and John Atchison.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 – 1 pm Thursday, April 16, 2015.    The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015.

Dwight Turner will officiate.

Interment will be at Henry Co. Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, Tenn.
