Homemaker and former factory worker Ruby Dell Harrison, 79, of Paris died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at her residence.
She was married on May 18, 1952, to John Harrison, who survives.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Edmund Long will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Garden.
Chosen as pallbearers are Adam W., Chase B. and Jonathan Harrison, Dorris Evans, Randy Walker and Patrick Corbin.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
Born Nov. 11, 1933, in Dukedom, she was a daughter of the late William Jess Bunton and Mollie May Sadler Bunton.
She was formerly employed at Holley carburetor plant and Emerson Electric Co. She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons: David L. (Susan) Harrison of Paris and John W. (Jane)Harrison of Goodlettsville; four grandchildren: Adam W. Harrison of Jackson, Rachel Harrison of Goodlettsville, Chase B. Harrison of Memphis and Jonathan D. (Tiffany) Harrison of Dresden; one
great-grandchild: Delaney Harrison of Dresden; Three sisters: Lula M. Taylor and Joyce Jones, both of South Fulton and Helen L. Dennison of St. Louis; and three brothers: Robert L. Bunton of Livonia, Mich., James M. Bunton of Cedar Hill, Mo., and Donald R. Bunton of South Fulton.
She also was preceded in death by a sister: Lucille Woatchie; and three brothers: William L., Clyce W. and Jerry Dee Bunton.
